Question: What is the benefit of having AMTI manage my OEM maintenance program? Answer: With most Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) parts and maintenance programs, the owner/operator is required to maintain the aircraft at a “factory authorized” or “factory owned” service center. If your OEM maintenance facility replaces components as a normal part of their troubleshooting process (also known as “shotgunning”) you are spending unnecessary dollars, rapidly eliminating the OEM parts program credit which could be available at the end of the term. Question: Can I have you just manage my major inspections or engine events? Answer: Yes.
